Science
Science instruction is integrated throughout the day. Ms. Vauna does an excellent job teaching all three science cores. Please have your child at school to learn these engaging topics.
Writing
Snowville School uses Step Up to Writing to teach the writing skills. 5th grade students take a writing test at the end of the year. During the year, 3-5 use a computer writing program to help polish writing skills.
Geography
Where is Canada? Our students will learn about our world.
Mathematics
Teachers will send home the standards which your child will be learning in math. We will monitor their progress and help each student master BELS concepts.
Physical Education
Students have PE two times a week. Students have break times throughout the school day. Unless the weather is colder than 20 degrees or very wet, we will be playing outside. Please have your child dress accordingly. Also, please advise children to wear good shoes for running and playing.
